Brake swap crisis!!!!!

What's up! I have a 96 civic hatchback cx and just bought a complete disk swap that's from a 96 gsr abs! Everything looks cool... abs sensors could just come off.... the booster is cool too but the master cylinder! The master cylinder on my car has 2 lines coming from the passenger side to the mc! The swap that I have has a hole on the driver side and a hole on the passenger side ( in other words it won't fit). Anybody have suggestions on which one will? Thanks...
 
These are the pictures of what is on my car now... 1996 Honda Hatchback CX... Ive looked through every parts store catalog and parts computer and most every honda uses the same MC non-ABS! Why is my car different? Its canadian!!! Is that it!!!! Even when i look up parts for MY civic, not the GSR, they show me a MC with the fittings to the left (drivers side if you are sitting in the car looking out)!!! This is freaking me out....

you need a non ABS MC, one from a us spec ITR will bolt right up or you can use a 99/00 civic si one but you will have to bend lines, honestly why are you changing the MC and BB anyway? I have GSR brakes all around and i am still using the OEM 96 cx MC and BB and i have 340whp and my car stops just fine...
 
alright cool, thanks a million! i dont know why never checked si and type r's! why is my 96 different? or are they all like that? also on the rear trailing arms, i know i use my stock LCA's but what about the rear;front dogbone looking arm? Do I use the gsr or my stock one as well? Thanks a million... ima press out the studs and intall arp studs along with new pads, rotors and fluid...
 
you don't need to change brake booster and all that the one that you have will work just fine trust me i just did my rear disk convertion and gsr front convertion.

Yeah thanks dude, i guess i just wasted 150 bucks on a booster and MC! Its all good though... Thanks you guys.... I still dont know why my 96 Honda Hatch CX (Canadian) is like this... With the MC being the same as the 99/00 Si and USDM ITR! Can anyone explain on this? Thanks you guys for everything!!!!

how do you know its the same? Take a look at your MC it should have a stamp with one of the following: 13/16 or 7/8 or 15/16 or 1. Let me know what stamp you have on yours.

15/16 is plenty big enough, i am still using the wimpy 13/16 one!! However your MC is NOT the same as USDM 99/00 Civic si which is a 7/8 nor is it the same as a USDM ITR which is a 1" it sure is a mystery but who cares its a good thing :nice:

yeah its a good thing no doubt..... but what if i was some old lady who is barely making it each month with cash and i had to buy another MC! HaHaHA All the MC's they have here in Norcal offer me the standard integra one ( lines to the driver side!). Poor old lady will spend grip trying to find the right one! hahahaha ima keep looking into this.... i still think its weird and interesting, im going to talk to honda tomorrow... I am going to post pictures in a week er two on how the swap came together, im just waiting for all my parts to come in.... SS lines, arp studs ect..... Thanks you guys... especially blinx... huge help!!!!
