Brake cables

Hi all. Just wondering if anyone knows if there are any other models that share the same hand brake cables as EK9s. As I recently got a pair but looks like they were for the EK4s

I would have thought the EK4 one would fit perfect, I done a 5 lug conversion on my old EK4 with trailing arms from a DC2 which effectively has EK9 brakes and the cable was perfectly fine.

Or where abouts are you experiencing fitment issues?
 
Just the cables themselves. I've fully adjusted the handbrake as far as it'll go and there's still nothing (brand new cables) and Honda have discontinued EK9 cables :(

Sorry to bump this thread back up but it wouldn't let me PM the user.

Could you clarify, did you use the EK4 handbrake cable or DC2R cables when you did the 5 lug conversion?

Ek4 cables can fit onto a 5 lug swap I believe but you have to make it fit iirc
 
Thanks for that

I was hoping to find out if DC2R cables will fit onto EK chassis because I've read that they come up short.
