Boosting my EK9

What about oil cooling?

Surely that is vital on a turbo build, aswell as a new heavy duty clutch.

What would be the average price of everything fited and the car mapped if you only wanted 7psi of boost and reliability.

if your looking for a headgasket, im sure we have one in stock, @ kingmotorsports.com

As long as oil temperatures are not hitting 120-130c on a daily basis there should be no need for an oil cooler. This is assuming a good fully synthetic oil is being used.

One is probabaly not needed for street use, but track use maybe a different story.

I have a 21row MOCAL custom oil cooler setup with an oil-stat and swaged lines with mine.

But as for the oil temps, certain oils like Pro-S or Motul (topend products of motul) can sit at up to 130* all day long and still offer great protection.

Repped.

That's so true, but people do not realise.

If you get a bottle of £10 Duckhams oil then yeah, your going to have problems. But as above, a TRUE good fully synthetic, they still won't shear down at the above temps.

I have used Redline (expensive and only 1 US gallon!), but have now changed to Silkolene, as it is better value for money.
