Just bought myself an absolute beaut of an EK9. (pics to follow tomorrow after a good clean!)
It can with a fibre glass bonnet and bonnet pins but they really vibrate, causing a rattling noise
. they dont appear to be loose, as they are riveted to the bonnet, but the actual pin and ring is loose but cant be tightened. see here:Merlin - QUICK RELEASE BONNET PINS (PR) - QRBP
How do i make them quieter without making the car look bad?
I'm thinking, some little foam pads to stick between the bonnet and the pin ring, but i think these will spoil the look.
I might change them for the flush looking ones seen here: AEROCATCH Plus Flush Locking Bonnet Catch Pin Fastener on eBay, also Bonnet Pins Protectors, Exterior Styling, Car Tuning Styling, Cars, Parts Vehicles (end time 09-May-09 08:55:11 BST)
but that would mean cutting the bonnet - not cool....
any ideas?
