blinx's official intake thread: which intake really is the best? i answer it.

Great info as usual Blinx.

Here's an interesting comparison though:

STOCK B16b block/head/cams with J's racing header, port matched intake, Spoon throttle body, Spoon direct flow pipe, Spoon filter, full Spoon exhaust and test pipe, 154whp (yes the guy is a Spoon whore)

STOCK B16b block/head/cams with 98 spec 4-1 header, 42mm ITB, 2.5" exhaust and test pipe, 175whp

Both tuned with Hondata on same dyno.

However with the Spoon exhaust on the ITB car the car made 10whp more.

If the car with ITB had a bigger cam I dare say it would have made more.

I always though Mugen was the pick of the aftermarket systems?

Interesting!

How would you rate mods such as, say a Spoon Drop-in Filter + Carbon Kevlar Intake Elbow, has anyone had any experience with this?
