ek9-type r-i don't know who or where you got your info from but this is an rx,i have the auction report:naughty:.

jugzbugz-remember that the only differences are minor equipment options it should'nt be any heavier or if you can elaborate further about what exactly is heavier about it i would be pleased to know as i have never heard this before,doesnt matter to me as it is too good to track or race i'm gonna do this up as a demonstrator or show car, cheers for the comments though guys.
 
i had a look at this info it could be the keyless entry that makes the difference who knows,this link also confirms that the rx came in all colours but we knew that anyway.:nice:
 
Yeah the Rx came in all colours mate - I belive they were only produced in year 1999 - 2001 and had alloy foot pedals, shiny carbon fibre dash, different axilary layout eg heater controls etc, red stiching on gear gator and remote cental locking standard.

Im from Arbroath bud, my mate also has a CW 1997 ek9 - imaculate !! You goin to crail this sunday ?? Total Vaxhall - should be a giggle ! Neds "R" Us !!
 
i actually live in blairgowrie lol you are only about half an hour away,my car is on its way over just now:( so no crail for me,but when it does arrive we will have to meet up,dont suppose you or your mate are looking to sell your standard wheels?or know where i can lay my hands on a set reasonably local?

was the closest thing to a new one in black that i could find hehe was looking for a while,anyways its in this weekend so hopefully go down to liverpool next week,pick her up,will put proper photos up once i've cleaned it up.
 
picked it up today couple of bonus's it has apexi coilovers aswell as everything else apexi and also the rare honda access ignition light,pics for the boys tmw:woot:also its as good as expected condition wise and the original auction report was lying in the car.:woot:
 
will do mate,also my rims are only 16" and are fitted with potenza re01's which are perfect thought they might have been 17" cause they looked so big,pictures coming later today.
 
sorry mate it was raining yesterday and been busy today,so should get some decent photos tommorrow as its starting to get dark now.
