bigtube header info

having a local boy build the system who builds exhausts for all the hillclimb cars. same system my mate runs on his hillclimb integra (true 2.5" ID, fully slip jointed with aluminium / carbon repackable silencer)

He runs his with a decat and ITB's and it's some note off it, the exhaust is pretty much drowned by the ITBs, haha

some good headers are very important to gain the maximum power of your engine that's the reason why im getting mine custom built from ASP. or PRAYOONTO RACING and yes size does matter LOL LOL

Really looking forward to seeing this custom exhaust and manifold steven it sounds very functional, and obviously the engine build coming together!!

Steven...just outta curiosity, how much will you be paying for your header? Feel free to keep it to PM but just wanted to know lol

No point in spending this much on the engine itself then skimping out on the exhaust system.....

Had a look the other night, they do look VERY well made and bonus is they are backed up by a decent warranty!

Would be worth messaging them or hytech etc to see what header is best suited for your build (big tube or standard)

For me the streetsweeper is best due to

-Ground clearance
-I don't have power steering so no pump to get in the way of the header
-4-1 design should suit the gearing or my car (7-9k when going for it, long 1st and short 3/4/5)

Has there been any work done on the head of yours? I know that mine should be flowing a fair bit running a ported/gasflowed head, stage 3 cams and an Endyn modified inlet manifold

ported and polished, stage 2 cams etc my rev range would be similar to urs with my 4.9 final drive,3.4 fidanza flywheel,i also have no powersteering.Did you see my build thread, maybe you could have a look and give me your thoughts
