big end bearing

hi my ek9 has had a few problems and i need a knew piston but when the garage took my piston out, the big end bearing was 2 diiferent colours it was green and red. is that the right colours..? because to get the bearing u need a colour code but usally they are 1 colour, so any help plz

go off the number on the side of the rod and the letter on the crank.

Are you shure they havnt got them mixed up. If you replace them with ACL Race Bearings they come in only one size.

honda come in different colours for different thicknesses, you normally use the same colour on either side depending on what the clearance is

yeah i know normally they come in 1 colour on both sides, but when i stripped my engine they where different colours on both sides so i have just ordered the same colours because it ran like that for 3 years before breaking. but thanks for your help, does anybody know the original colour for a ek9 bearing?
