i was just wondering if i upgrade my front brakes for a big brake coversion, will i have to do anything to my rear brakes on my ek9..?
will it affect the braking if i dont do anything to the rear brakes..??

You might loose brake balance, but you can correct this by using semi racing brake pads in the rear.

Dont forget your brakes only stop as good as your tires can grip, so a big brake kit means nothing if you could lock up your tires easily with stock brakes. Also, sometimes big brake kits are more for track driving and actually stop slower than stock street brakes. So please do your research and find out what your primary driving will be.

good point, also dont forget, most bigger brakes require 17"+ wheels

Many big brake kits are compatible with 16'' though, like willwoods.

some 16" depends on offset wheel style etc... i have seen a few kits with 16" wheels, it looks good!

ahh right, well im only going to be using the car for road use only, but as you might know i am adding a turbo and i am going to be running quite abit of boost. So with power you need to be able to stop as well, do u think that the standard ek9 brakes will capable of handling it...?

I think they will be fine. EK9's have large rotors and pads for the cars size, my 94-01 usdm integra brakes are sufficient and they arent even as large as EK9 brakes.
