i just cant make up my mind on which size to go for i like 16s but cant get the wheels i like in that size but it is in 17s and light weight.

at the moment im using the my ek4 for daily use and it's standard at the moment 160bhp i havnt remaped it yet but going to. at the moment i have 17s and they feel abit heavy not so responsive not sure if its to do with the car having same power but bigger wheels or maybe after the remap it may improve. any suggestions ?

Thanks

it will only be different if you have a weird tyre set-up aswell. its best to go for 15's or 16's
it will handle better aswell
i run 195/45/16 on my ej9 and its really gripy.

U should just go with 15's 16's is 2 big I got FalkEn Azenis 205/50/15 with like 15% left off tread an I still take it two the track like dat an they grip real good.

You guys are crazy, some 17's look amazing!! Like Advan RG and Volk CE28n, those look sexy in 17!!!!!!!!

i use to have 15 after i have 16 now i have 17(original honda from accord sport edition) and there perfect
if you use 17 with the right tyre is the best

17's have great brake cooling because of the open air to the rotors, along with great brake clearance. 17" tires have stiffer sidewalls and a very wide range of tire sizes and brands. There are also more wide tire sizes in 17" than 16" or 15".
All these attributes make 17's very popular with dedicated race cars. These car's generally have the power to propel the higher wheel and tire weight that would be detrimental to most street Honda's.

And I agree with Blinx, they can look good. I think the main reason I don't think 17's don't look good to me is because of the "ricer factor". Too many posers rocking huge wheels that don't really "fit" their car's abilities. On a racing car however, such as the Hasport Integra sedan, they look and work great.

Dino i agree with you about the ricer thing but on the opposite level, i am starting to hate rims with large lips because so many people put them on Honda's now with an insane amount of neg camber just to make them fit that it looks silly...

thats great explanation Dino and thanks blinx on backing up the 17s , on my imports eg6 its came with Hokomoto wheels untill thay got stolen they were light wieght aswell :( and i cant seem the find the perferct replacements. whne i spoken to the japanese alloy wheel dealer he said 17s are very good and dont go any higher then that meaning that 17s is the absolute biggest wheel you should fit but i have seen some 18s which do look silly.

im still looking at some 16s or 17s i think 15 going to be very small for me as the car is slightly lowered and has sideskirts.
