Best Exhaust for B18c6r

Can't watch the vid till I get home,
I get what your trying to say but what im saying is the is no benefit to fitting the 3" if ther was a gain to be had they would be selling them and everyone would have one.
Even if ther is a gain, of what a hp? Not worth the downside of the noise, cost etc.
I think we're best to just agree to disagree on this lol
My advice to op is to get yourself your buddy club system. For your spec its perfect,

People don't have them because majority of tracks have noise limits and 3" system don't cut it. But generally where there are no limits mega power RR's are prity much everywhere.

Just watched the video,
You yourself know aswell as almost everyone that the mugen twin loop is seen as a restrictive exhaust.
Having said that I am quite surprised he lost 7hp from it.
That buddy club exhaust is 2.7" external
The mugen was hard to see but think it was 60mm which is 2.3odd.
Still no 3" which is what this was all about lol

To OP that dc5 just ran 227hp on a 60mm exhaust, your 1.6? Will be fine with the same.

ah well the Buddy Club Spec 2 Will do for now, i could get the skunk2 for same price but they are back orderd.

Surely the fact that the Spec 2 is strait through will make up for the size difference.

buddyclub spec 2 are retardedly loud

skunk2 are a bit more bearable noise wise and sound a lot nicer on WOT

both should see the same gains

well i've orderd a spec 2 only a track car so shouldnt be a problem there are only 2 race circuits that i use that have a 98db sound limit, not keen on them tracks so just cross them off the list. plenty of other places. if it gets too anoying i shall sell on and go skunk2

well my car is for trak days, i can always shove the bung in driving down to the track and keep her under 4k rpm. shouldnt cause me a problem at all

actually i was wrong the spec 2 is awsome but omg way to loud....

Any of you tried replacing that litte silencer by somthing a bit bigger ?

you were told that it is a very loud exhaust infact id say the car would be quieter if it was running no exhaust at all haha

so it is your own fault and now you have to modify it which unless done properly will negatively effect the flow and lose power

i know i was warned didnt think it would be actually that loud though no i have done around 300 miles it has softend a bit.

i was actually thinking of having a new mid section made up. wouldnt afect flow would just cost half the price of the spec 2 wich is stupid. but i actually love it apart from the excesive noise it sounds amazing apart from making you;re ears bleed it pops and bangs and the power difference is actually amazing compared to the spoon N1 the engine feels much more responsive and free reving quite suprised.

the spec 2 is spectacular just loud if i could quiet it down without loosing all the good sides of it it would just be an awsome exhaust.... but i reckon changing the mid silencer would loose the pops and bangs :/
