Best Exhaust for B18c6r

Right with my B16a2 i was runing a spoon N1 made 173bhp with only breathing mods.

Basicly i want to know what would be the best to pump out the most power from the b18c i do not care about looks or sound so much, i just want an exhaust that gives raw power.

If the spoon is best i'l keep it, just thinking that the diameter might not be adequate ?

Also price no more than 1k.

I have a boyz exhaust that my b18c6 ek9 came with that's too loud for me. Would you be interested in a swap/deal with mine? Is 2.5" so perfect for b18, I would keep it but too loud for me.

Best for power would be no Exhaust lol. But doubt you would want that.

I take it you will want it to be Track day dB limit friendly??? Not many decent systems with higher spec flow, That are actually track day friendly or even true 2.5" more like 2.35".

Custom would be your best bet, seeing as your after all out power, I would say a 70mm (2.75") system would be perfect. You could go 3" but for the extra cost, weight and effort needed to keep the noise resonable its not really worth the gains.

Can I ask what spec and power your aiming for from your B18?
 
2.7 wouldnt be too big then ?

I have a chance to swap for a Skunk2 Megapower R

And not to fussed about noise limit we dont have them in france.

SKunk2 Megapower R is a good system, its a 2.7" exhaust but inner diamter is probably nearer the 2.6" if its a good price go for it, If not Custom is your best bet. that way you make it an actual straight through exhaust with a little bends and silencing as possible.
No noise limits sounds fun :D
 
if the skunk2 is a better system than the spoon i'm up for it.

And the skunk2 sounds rather nice too to be honest
 
Oh Yeh man the skunk 2 will flow way more than the Spoon N1 for sure. :D

Megapower R is a great choice. Nice for some to not have noise limits. Was going to buy one of these myself and modify it with bigger silencers. But yet to find a cheap enough used one.

A wide bore Exhaust being too big for N/A is a myth. All the magic is in the manifold after that it just needs to get out as easy as possible. Good reason to why drag cars generaly have no exhaust after the manifold.
 
Acutally think the one he's getting rid of is an RR :/ so mite be too big the 76 mm ? 3 inch.

And if i cant get a skunk2 what other exhaust's are as good as it in the 70mm setup ?

Are any of the buddyclubs as good ?

Anyone else help me with this the skunk 2 mega power R can't get one so whats another good option ?

Custom one round here will cost me 800 euro's so urm .....
 
The price is the thing that is going to stop me, i'm not paying 800 Euro ( 700 pounds ) for an exhaust made in somones shed i'm afraid.
 
That's expensive for a custom exhaust!
 
Yeah , mite end up just getting a buddyclub pro spec this is getting a bit anoying.

Was going to get a mate to weld one up for me, but cant find a silencer that i like, the one i wanted is unavailable for 3 months so ball ache.com.
