Best Alloys for an EK9?!

Okay so after looking around for a while I found a wheel, exactly how I want it. Like the TE37 but black with a polished lip. It's made by Inovit, anyone ever heard of them?

Theres a pic of one. Lovely looking rim. Not sure why it has a Rays Engineering logo on it though?!

its just a copy.... it says RAVS engineering lol. its probably heavy and rubbish

TE37 <<< real thing

Holy crap! Ravs engineering haha!

Cant find them damn TE37 Time Attacks anywhere!!!!!!

bronze ce38's or mugen mf10's

think te37's are over done in my opinion at this stage. still a mint wheel though

Got to admit, not too fond of the MF10's, not sure why.

If I can find the TE37 Time Attacks there a sure thing!

IMO the SSR Type C's are one of the best wheels on an EK9. Very very light and look uber cool.

what about gab wheels i luv the look of some of them. dont know the names of them tho lol

Yea I've heard about these Ravs LOL!! don't ever try to think spending your money on those. I don't want others to make fun of me lol :nono:

Wow the SSR Type C's are lovely too. Still no black with a polished lip :(

Just so everyone know's, I think the eh "RAVS" are out the window.

If I can find the TE37 Time Attack, I'll be getting them, if not I think it's going to be stock for a while.

Volk Ce28's are my favorite, I have a custom black set from volk, I waited 6 months for them.

I may have anew favorite though, I just ordered the new Volk RE30's in Orange for my car, 17X8.5 fronts and 17x7.5 rears for the new s2000 brakes im running.

Here is a pic of my S2000 brakes under my 15" Volk Ce28's-

I cant even fit a coin between the caliper and the wheel, it is seriouisly millimeters. No spacer either, the volks are 15x7, +43, 4x114.3, '96 spec ITR suspension

Under 16" MF8's -

Very nice man. How did you order the custom Volks?

Not really looking for a copy, but yeah Rota have a good reputation over here.

A friend has the bronze Grid on his Pulsar and he loves them.

you can usually ask your volk dealer/ distributor what color options are being offered for powdercoating. It cost me $50 usd extra per wheel to be pwdercoated and I waited about 5 months for them. Usually, volk offers the colors of the JGTC cars of that season. So if you were to order now, you'd be able to get the colors of the cars running in 2008 JGTC season:nice:

I would like the SSR type-C's /competitions if they didn't bend so easily. Lightweight isn't the only thing important about a wheel's performance. The SSR type-C is proof that "forged" doesn't always go hand in hand with "strength".

okay guys I think Ive got a set of Time Attacks sorted, just need to know what tires and sizes now?!

Anyone know?

Ive got ssr type Cs at the moment, I am aware that its easy to bend these wheels going over potholes etc, but so far they seem to be ok, you just have to be a little bit more careful. and if you just keep the tyre pressures up it shouldnt be too much of a problem. and they are LIGHT. you can lift them with 2 fingers, they feel more like heavy plastic than metal when you pick them up lol
