Be careful at the ring....

Thats a big crash! Ive been on the ring when the car behind crashed, but nothing compared to that!

He must be gutted but its one of they chances you take when you go on track at the end of the day.

Sort of puts me off going this September seeing that lol, but I would believe its down to the driver that happening.

Worst of all I think they charge you like 1000 euros a meter for Armco repair plus extra for fluid clear up

Edit works out about 1000euros a meter inclusive of recovery truck repair crew removal/refitment of damaged Armco and track closure

What about component failure, tyre blowout? There are alot of variables we don't know!

Whatever way you look at it the ring is a deathtrap lol

Nice catch! Rain catch you out over the bump?

Wow that is a bad crash! Car totalled and a HUGE bill for repairs afterwards... I wouldn't touch a car again!

Impressive catch JDM_Dan that's a fast section there you must have been about 100mph

Thats a scary accident but he seemed to come out ok from that sort of speed!

It would definitally make you think twice, accidents can happen very quickly

The thing about the ring is theres so many cars on track at once , the chances of a car spewing oil or coolant down is far higher ..

Could be a well setup car and a good driver but hit an oil slick in the fast sections , chances are your going to hit something

Was out there when this happened. Track was closed for a long time after the smash. The talk was that the guy managed to get out ok after the hit.

This is why you bring your tools to trackdays!

And make sure they don't drive
