So b18c-r with Toda C (big) cams, light skim to flat, ek9 pistons. Did 3 trackdays. Now sold.
Jesus an u had no clearance issues dude no?
Am have a fully rebuilt b18cr with all genuine Honda parts and ek9 pistons.
Where should i go from here? B18cr or b16b head with aftermarket cams or will aftermarket cams touch?
Heard that they can?
Also i currently have a b16a head that has been skimmed ported an polished with reground valves and dual valve spring retainers but dono would that work seen as its skimmed?
Any info would be great please no negative comments haha

- Keep your redline at no more than 8500rpm.
- Since your head is skimmed, the timings will be off(retard around 2 approx.) Be sure to dial your aftermarket camshafts in to recommended specs and you will be safe.
- You can drop in the type R or any stage 1 cams to run off the B18cr tune to run the engine in properly before thinking about doing camshafts. I would recommend this to ensure longetivity.
Another question hahaha. Would a thicker headgasket be safer? i think it would but would that lower my compression? Or would i be better with that
