So basically collecting my kit together for B18C4 turbo.

This is a rough list of what i currently have.

T3 Turbo
Manifold with screamer/wastegate flange
38mm External Wastegate
Braided oil line
Braided Oil Return Line
3" downpipe
MOCAL Oil cooler
FMIC
Dump Valve
Oil Catch Can
Sump with Oil return welded in.

I have a oil filter sandwhich plate with 2 ports. I think i need one with 3? 2 for oil cooler and 1 to provide oil to the turbo? - Is this correct?

Now would i need injectors? I want to get it running then go for mapping. I plan on using the h-tune ECU i have and buy the turbo chip just to get it running. Then go to Eurospec for a real mapping sessions.

Would i need a fuel pressure regulator? If so, i take it i'll need an adapter plate of my fuel rail? - And what BAR/PSI fuel should i run?

Would i need a walbro fuel pump?

MAP sensor? 3bar? Is this essential for low boost?

Baring in mind i want this up and running. with VERY low boost so would all the above be needed?

Anything im missing and any advice greatly appreciated.

You can do it that way or buy a setup to take oil from the OEM oil pressure switch.

Yes, 550's maybe but speak to eurospec - if you are getting it tuned there they may be able to give you a basemap in advance depending on your ECU.

No not needed

Would i need a walbro fuel pump?

If you are running bigger injectors yes

No there are other options. The honda map sensor from memory goes up to arond 8 psi.

--- How can this be done? Is there a link to what i can buy... What would be the better way of doing it?

-- So for say 6-8psi i would need injectors? - I'll have a hunt on eBay.

If you are running bigger injectors yes

-- What if i dont want to run injectors? But, if its essential i will..

Is it possible you can link me the adequate injectors? There so many to choose from on eBay?

I think a lot of people use RC 550cc injectors. I hope you're not buying all your parts off ebay :damn2:

Grams 550's are probably the easiest to get hold of... there are OEM injector options too but you need to do your research for that route.

IMO speak to your tuner about your goals.

A clutch? Good brakes, all suspension bushes are good?

What is your power goals? this will determine injector size.

Change the fuel pump out a matter of course, it has been in there 10/15 years.
THe stock MAP sensor reads upto 11 psi.

If your not going over 11 psi /.7 bar the stock map sensor will be fine. Grams 550's are great injectors and will be capable of supplying enough fuel to reach 370-ish bhp (dependant on fuel pressure)

What ones? Im on the website but there isn't any that are relivant to a Civic?

They're designed for Honda - you need B-series top hats (i think they come with them but email the seller). You can also get conversion harnesses to make them plug and play if you want to cur your wires.

If you go on there parts store they do them for all makes of cars. The honda range was S2000 and Acura?

Im going for about 250bp SAFELY. With the first setup, then add power in due course.

Brakes are uprated already.

Clutch thats a good point never thought of that! What would be good for 350bhp? in the future.

Ahhh yeh, my bad - contact H-tune or Tegiwa or someone who sells them and ask for a set that fits B18C4.

Something like a Competition Clutch Stage 2 - thats what i run at 300+ BHP and its fine so far.

Baffled Sump

Relevant gauges - wouldn't run a setup without oil temp/pressure/wideband/boost just for peace of mind and to know what's going on, best way to see how things are running.

About the map sensor.
Sometime when your at high rpm and then punch the throttle(like on track) the boost can overshoot slightly, if your target boost is close to the sensors max this puts the engine into boost cut and shuts everything off.

Romain said if I wanted more power I'd need a new map sensor.
I'm at 0.6bar

I have all gauges all wired in just not plumbed in as its turbo kit isnt fitted.

Im going on a normal sump modified with a return. I dont plan on tracking it? Is this acceptable.

Can someone aid me with the oil feed to turbo what sandwhich should i use as the one i have is 2 port. But, with an OIL cooler id need 3 port surely?

Oil cooler would be a whole other sandwich plate. I am running a 3 Port sandwich plate and an oil cooler sandwich plate. So you could just buy a 3 Port...

Or alternatively as mentioned you can get kits that allow you to T into the block where the OEM oil sensor thing goes. It looks like this:

Yes it's not ideal running so close to limits of stock map sensor, If you have a spare £100 get a Hondata or Omni 4 bar map sensor :nice:
