Hey guys. So before i was asking about what i need and to do for a B18c swap. I have an ek3 with a D15z6.
My current options are.
A) If i actually try and save up i will have enough for the B18c and get it fitted by end of March. The whole conversion including all the parts i need and getting it fitted, also a remap. This will set me back about £3k.
B) Since i dont get paid much as i only work part time atm. I wont be able to afford an ek9 till about 2-3 years, also cause my insurance is still bad for those cars.
C) Remap my D15z6 right now, standard power is 113bhp ish, i could spend a few hundred getting a few bits and then £300 for remap. I'd probably get about 140bhp.
D) Save up for upto a year, swap my D15 for a D16 and have it fully forged and turbo it, alot of people in America are running 400bhp turbo D16's. I'd be happy with 250-300bhp ;P
What would you do and why?
