Any suggestions if your in my shoes, which one you gonna do first?
Or which one has more gains? :)

I currently have a JDM B16a basic IHE upgrades

Have a look at the cost of aftermarket cams, springs and retainers for your B16a vs a stock B16B head.

Not without any supporting mods it won't. You may gain a little but unless you need to get more air in the engine if you want decent gains.

so a decent b16b head is a way to go over the ecu tuning and stuff?

How about changing b16b pistons plus b16b cams valvesprings?

Get a programmable ECU of your choice first. Don't waste your time with a re-chipped ECU, it needs to be programmable; i.e. Hondata.com or anything like it that you or a tuner can alter when needed.

Then you can tune the engine every time you upgrade a part on or in the engine. i.e. new cams, intake, exhaust, forced induction...

Otherwise, all your bolt on upgrades will be running on OEM maps that, at times, can be detrimental to the life of your engine.

as above , ecu man
:nice:
and if you go for a b16b head wont you need a map to any as bigger cams etc ... then b16a

Thanks for the inputs, i'll go for the programmable ecu plus street tune. To maxomize out my b16a performance :)
