Okay, this video i think was on youtube and is a Proper B16b.. not some Ek4 or something.. oh and i know you cant time it accurate but if you watch the video on youtube.. the 0-100KHM which is approx 62mph in UK.. was about 6 and half seconds.. and as someone said earlier.. the 2mph is about 1.2 seconds difference.. ;)

Oi your using me pic in your sig lol, haha nice you tube vid

I gave u it lol

back on topic, see the bit in the vid where he almosts gets swiped, had that happen a few times :s

can anybody tell me what's the country? seems that it's somewhere in asia....
i think it's either Thailand, Singapre or Malaysia (quite a lot of US wagon....)

i have some doubts that's that is an ek9 ....

Why do you have doubts.. to slow... to fast lol ? video is labeled: Civic B16B...In Bangkok

B16B doesn't excatly make it a foregone conclusion that the car in question is an EK9. Plenty of EK4s with B16Bs transplanted in. The fact it says Civic as well.. means a higher possibility of this being the case.

no, thats not an ek9,

It's the EJ civic coupe with B16b transplant in thailand.

I want to take a video like that, any ideas on how to put the camera right in front the tachometer?

i suspect it must be a rather small DV Cam of some sort..

According to the video details, the civic is not an EK9. Now suppose we didn't know the details. So someone may claim that the car in not an EK9 because of 0-60 time(6.5 or even slower). Do you think that's a clue? Well, I want to remind you guys something very important, some physics rules which I’m sure most of us are aware of. These rules can be confirmed by what I’m experiencing every day here……
I’m sure you already know:

1). High altitude = less air density = less oxygen = less power!

2). Hot, dry weather(humidity) = less air density = less oxygen = less power!

Take United Kingdom for example with all this cold:
= more air density = more oxygen = more, more and more power!

Here in my place: 1 + 2 = less, less and less power. Here stock EK9s(hundreds of EK9s) and at least all those that I know make 0-60 in 6.5 - 7.0 secs during the summer where we might go beyond 40 degrees Celsius.
For example, UK summer average temperature might be 20 Celsius whereas here might be 35!!!
Also, here winter average temp never goes below 20 Celsius.
I'm sure most of you guys already knew these things, but I wanted to post this message as a clarification. No one can be opposed to the fact that EK9 makes 0-60 in 5.7 secs but there are also other facts...............

And here is something you should see if still not convinced :nice:

it was about 6 seconds i compared it from 0 -60 and 62 .. it was 6 seconds to 60 about 6.5 to 62mph..

also if i am not mistaken that cars chassis is a lot heavier than an EK9..

Yes maybe you have estimated correctly, but I'm not speaking about that certain video...since according to the owner its an EJ6 I think?, so, different chassis, so, most probably different weight, maybe modified.........perhaps 17" wheels, no further details:) ........who knows. I'm refering to original stock EK9s of weight 1090kg that can still do really bad times under very bad conditions :nice: Can anybody lend me some oxygen please??:angry2: :angry2:

I know that is what im trying to imply.. lol the car is heavier and prolly has some riced 17's on so it will be slower then an ek9 :D mwhahahaha :p
