b16a2 Swap not starting!!

Hi guys, just swapped a b16a2 into my ek3 and it wont turn over.

Ive got ignition lights coming on and can hear the fuel pump prime. Im thinking its the transponder?? i dont have the donor car anymore but do still have the keys. I dont want to give a direct feed to the starter as fuel was leaking from the feed to the rail! Not up for setting my car on fire haha.


Ive used also the ek4 loom. If anyone could help it much appreciated as i need the car next week for the misses moving in:nerv:
 
did u take the code reader for the key from under the steering colum from the doner car? if ur usin the ecu from the donner u would need it unless its a jdm ecu
 
Sounds like immobiliser, is the green key light on dash flashing?

yep it flashes five times. Ive got it turning over now and ive got plug no 1 out and grounding it. It sparks twice then stops. thought it might be a bad ground so i put a jumper straight onto - battery terminal but its still only sparks twice.

i think its the immob kicking in as ive not taken the transponder box out the donor car. Im gonna try and get a p30 and conversion harness to fire it up.

Just out of curiosity does is the p2t ecu immobilised? ive looked on alot of forums (mostly american) and they say its not. Thanks alot for your help bud:nice:

Nope, me being a spaz forgot to :(. Think thats what it is, so looks like p30 time :)
 
Yes some p2t's have got immobiliser. I have no p30's sorry. If you have your old ek3 ecu I can swap the immobiliser boards over for you so it will work off your original key, requires you sending ecu's over to me though.

Bugger, i sold the whole shabang to a guy going to put in a mini.
Thats cool you can swap the boards over. I did get my mate who works in timpsons to put the chip from the donor car into a key that would work with my barrel but didnt even turn the bugger over!!

Oh well guess its time to hunt for a p30 and conversion harness.
