Going to try a few bolt on mods on my b16 for some track action come summer. No looking any massive gains. I just bought a b18 inlet manifold, tb and some thermal gaskets, would this give gains that would make it worth 2 hours of my life fitting?? Have searched but would liketonknowfor definite or for people who have already done this

Leave intake manifold alone, you'll loose torque with b18 tb+intake mani on a stock b16a.

the manifold would help if your goina map it with your mods but the throttlebody is too big for a standard b16a2

I agree with VTEC6000, keep your OEM intake mani.

Get a good I/H/E setup and a remap if you don't have them yet.

Later you may go for Type R or aftermarket stage 1 cams with a 62mm TB and a new remap.

I was planning on inlet, tb, injectors, fuel rail and exhaust system then getting a map, would it still be a waste after that?

You dont need injectors or fuel rail, the OEM item is fine.

Focus on a manifold, exhaust, and a good induction kit

I thought it would be like my d16y7 and fitting a d16y8 inlet. Getting an exhaust system in the next few weeks hopefuly

What about if I fitted the inlet, tb and b18 or b16b cams?

In all honesty bud, get a decent header with a 2.5" collector and a 2.5" system and a good intake and you'll be on to a good base to start with.

What is the spec of your car ATM so people know where your at so they can point in the right direction

It's a b16a2 with 4-1 manifold, Decat, itr cat back which is getting replaced with a tanabe. I'm going I get an OEM airbox with elbow and spoon panel filter. It's currently it an obd1 p30 ecu. So was thinking cams, inlet and a map

I have an OEM airbox, intake pipe, alloy elbow to remove the resonator and a brand new spoon panel filter here if you are interested?

Will do the lot for £110
