Asimo


I saw it at Honda's HQ in Tokyo a couple of times..That thing moves really fluidly! Really scary! Walking backwards and standing on one foot. The new model is even more life like. Gah! This makes me think of Terminator somehow....
 
No human intervention at all. And actually it`s the only one robot that can jump!!

And that`s a very small sample of Asimo`s abilities. I think that this is history in the making.
 
It just demonstrates honda's excellent engineering great........
 
wow that big deardog thing is mental !

think my next mod has to be an asimo !
 
Ha that would be a scary dog i agree looks more like a deer but good engineering...
 
I've seen BigDog before. That thing creeps me the fu*k out.
 
That reindeer is much more convincing than Asimo! And what is the reason for being scary anyway? Couldn't they have done it approachable like Asimo? :shocked:
What should be more scary though is that is funded by "Defense" Agency. May the God help us :nono:

Who said that humanity has bright future? All I can see is millions of armed "big dogs" trying to bring the "justice" in the world.
 
but the question is..... who would win in a fight, see my money would maybe of been Asimo but then big deerdog has a fierce jump.... hmmm tough one

i say the bigdog's gonna win, coz he's big and can jump.....asimo only runs....probably bigdog can do horse kick too.....and can kick Asimo's a**....:D
