I think the phenomenon of the over-payed/priced british players is for laughs!! Take the recent example of Darren Bent. Tottenham payed the exact amount Barca payed Arsenal for Henry, but I'm not sure if he can "push" the ball into the net yet.... :angry:
Also Michael Carrick's transfer to Man Utd was a bubble just like many others....
In general I believe only few british players can be creative, being fast and "dangerous" on the pitch for your opponents doesn't make you good footballer, is just a matter of what kind of genes you carry with imo.

Spanish La Liga is a joy to watch!! :bow:

Why overrated? How much Celtic wants to break his contract? And tell me one British player who is joy to watch and at the same time so creative! :) Please don't tell me Steve Gerrard, you got my point :nice:

He is overrate because he is not a joy to watch, he does one maybe two things in a game that are quite good but never would he make it at any big european club eg Barca, Madrid, AC, even the big 4 in england. ohh I dont class him as British as he plays for Ireland!!! :p

:lol: I like your attitude :D Seriously, Rangers goes straight for the essense! Normally I should have gotten paid watching this football hehe :shocked: , but I'm amazed for the way you have managed to go that far, very very solid defense and in case you make it in the end, the history will say Rangers "won" UEFA cup and not "how" :win:
 
well thats it over rangers got out played and beat 2.0 just hope we still win the league
 
Just back from manchester and it was phenomenal. Managed to get a ticket from my girlfriend for my birthday haha class.

We did get outplayed but i wasnt expecting anything less because we have been in almost every euro game so far lol But i had a superb time n am proud of what the players achieved. Roll on the treble :D :D
 
shame rangers didnt win last night, but holy **** zenit were solid. took the chance at the end putting strikers on and unfortunatly it didnt pay off. SFA didnt help rangers situation either
 
Remember this team this year in Champions League, they participate directly in group stage.

Greece is going in reverse the last couple of years and the country ranking forces Olympiakos to start from August playing for the 3rd qualification round of Champions League :(
 
I support neither of the two, in fact i dislike both clubs but I felt really sorry for John Terry. Fate can play really bad games.....The captain who shows the way to his team-mates misses the winning penalty and minutes after having still the tears fresh in his eyes has to go up 70 steps to collect the runner up metal! It can't be worse :(
