any interest in an irish meet


Athlone sounds good. Sure there must be a nice car part by the water
 
lived in athlone working on the new motorway last year, the golden Island shopping centre carpark is huge and shouldnt be too full depending on the day and time. Cant think of anywhere better around there.
 
Actually found a better spot, the Hodson Bay Hotel , right on the water duh , good bit of parking space , but dont know how kindly they would take to a gang of civics appearing :dance:
 
yeah whose been to many in ireland? how do the gaurds take to them? havnt been at one in along time!

Grand once theres no tomfoolery on site! It would be private property so your going to have to get permission , now remember were part of the Honda Vintage Society est.1963 :D
 
tbh i dont think the hotel car park would be good as i would say we will be moved on , the golden island sc would be better . we could meet there first and then go for a spin to find a good spot for pics etc
 
i just cheaked google maps there, it would take me just over 3hrs to drive to athlone, would anyone else have to drive this far? i've never been to a meet before so what all would be happenin if i was to go?

It would also be a good idea to arrange the date closer to the summer, which hopefully will mean better weather and it will give us more time to arrange it and get a really good amount of people to attend

Anyone else think that its a good idea to move the date of the meet?
 
that shoppin centre carpark in Athlone is grand and big, midway is grand for it.

another option i suppose could be the new M1 service stations Dublin??

i know its not really central but it could be handy to get to for all involved. just an idea

Want to change it up a bit and go somewhere different.. As to the date sure we could organise another towards the summer.. were not limited to one meet a year:)

yea been to that location 2 or 3 times now,a change of scenery would be nice.
deffo attend one in few months or so if one is arranged :nice:

x2 I will have to attend one later on in the year as it seems like I'm the only one from my area on the list.

EK9.org trackday would be great crack :nice: I have all of the dates for Kirkistown this year

ill be up for it to if my integra is on the road.if not ill take jordan,also the trackday sounds really good id def be up for that

Yea that sounds like it could work. Also liking the idea of an ek9.org trackday in kirkstown, would be lots of fun. Though i need to get wheels and a helmet sorted for that first!

Gud man, you can get an OMP half face helmet perfect for trackdays for about £45 iirc

Set of 15" rims won't be hard to pick up either
