Hello all...

I'm running on a low budget so I only have a Ej9 to toy about with unfortunately but i'll use this thread to talk about the project until I sell it.

Here's the car when I first bought it (Sorry about just having one pic, there was more but I forgot to keep them on my comp :( )

Uploaded with ImageShack.us

It's the only pic I have of it before I lay a finger on it but I travelled 185 miles in order to get this car, I saw some really nice Ek4's floating about the Glasgow area but I was too slow so I was desperate and grabbed this Ej9 that had 75k miles, it's alot but getting a engine conversion next year.

I'll take some pictures tomorrow as my car needs cleaned the first yard after already cleaning it haha i'll need to buy some turtle wax.

Not sure if the pic is helpful enough but it was completely standard and i'm not sure what kind of alloys are on it but I like them for the time being anyway.

Things i've bought/done so far:

Ek9 Rep Front Splitter
EBC Brake Pads
New Brake Discs
Eibach Springs (Tein coilovers later on)
Ek9 rep grill
Spoon Res. Covers
Spoon N1 Exhaust
Ek9 Replica gear knob
Strippped out the back seats
Debadged the "Honda" and "Civic" located at the rear
Removed the seat covers and steering wheel cover lol.

Things i'm planning on doing:

Ek9 rear lip
Ek9 spoiler
Rear window tints
Powdercoating the alloys (Maybe green, depending on the mood)

Repairing the rear arches as a transit van smashed into it and damaged it pretty badly so I've currently put cataloy over it for temporary reasons as it's gonna cost £400 to repair and I personally think that's a lot for what it is and I understand the procedure that's needing to be done to make it good but it's still quite a lot lol.

I'll take pictures of the car tomorrow guys, need to be up early so i'll see you all tomorrow.

Nice little project mate , Like the colour :nice:

You got any pics with the mods ?

Hi mate. Like the plans other than maybe putting the wheels green. Go bronze with the wheels. 75k is not that much, it will do that again if taken care of.

Looks nice that, Thunder Grey can look really good, maybe spray the alloys white though.

i love this colour with oem ek9 wheels:drool:

looks like a good project get more pics up :)

tidy car mate up to date pics needed :p

will no doubt see it about when the weathers better and the glasgow squad are back out and about ;)

Cheers all, yeah i'll take many more pictures as I do stuff up etc. ... It looks bad in that pic, only issue I get with the car is that it gets far too dirty far too easily so I bought some turtle wax.

It's gunmetal grey and not thunder grey man.

Here is a vid of me driving it on a private road :D

New pics, car still needs a clean and is getting lowered on friday. Here you go...

More soon to come, got lots more things to do to it... can't wait until it's lowered I hate it being so high.

if ur ever planning on a respray keep it that color looks really nice :)

Ah sorry lads about the lack of pics, i've been piling up my money and it's all going to a new clutch and shocks which is a pain but needs to be done since it's MOT is due on February. Once the MOT is all over and done with I can't wait to have fun with the Decat and mess about in other areas. All you guys are minted out your head, I need to work hard just to afford new alloys lol some of yous just breathe takata harnesses and brine seats.

^^^ yeah i want to see how it looks now.. i barely got a ej9 and ill be working on it aswell

nice plans, with the exception of painting the wheels green. any other colour like silver/grey/bronze would be infinatley better imo.

yeah civics get snapped up quickly in glasgow, i was lucky to travel locally to get my car!! would have dreaded driving down south or something to get a civic!

nie little car there. great colour as well. thought about going darkish metallic blue for the wheels???? ive seen it somewhere and it looked great. keep up the good work. oh and more pics please.

good little car is the Ej, had one in supersonic blue and it looked awesome after a wash and wax, and was great fun once lowered with some breather mods. Got and EK3 now, in same grey as you, and cant wait to do some stuff to it, oh and 38k on the clock!
