I now have got another CW 2000 Rx in stock.

It is generally clean and tidy the body work seems very good and the interior is also very good. The drivers seat bolster is in excellent shape. It is also nice and original. I will be changing the cam belt before i sell it and it will be sold with 1yr MOT and 6m tax.

Only 59k miles, 2000 Face lift Rx.
Championship White / Red Recaro trim.
Mugen style front lip.
Electric & Retractable mirrors, Twin SRS with MOMO steering wheel,
AC, PAS, Electric Windows, CAT2, Honda LSD.
Type Rx featuring :- CD player, alloy pedals, red stitch
gear gaitor, Polished Carbon effect heater surround.
Full mph convertion + Derestricted
1yr MOT, 6m tax

Hi you would be looking at about £5500 (UK pounds) for a y2k car. This would be plus shipping to NY which is about £750 i think. You would need to sort out all the US customs clearance and forward transportation from NY onto your location.

Just wondering, if it's £5500 and £750 shipping to USA, why is it £8750 for here in UK?

Thats an extra £2500.

Is that just UK conversion pricing and everything to get it road legal over here and a bit of profit for yourself or do you not make much on the EK9's?

Not having a go or anything, just curious.

You never noticed the bumper then, i hadn't put the screw in the side hence the gap. All sorted now and fits lovely.
I have just fitted a new OEM Honda cam-belt, changed the oil / filter and fitted some rear pads.
This one is all ready to go now. So anyone after a very clean ek9 give me a shout.

If i imported you one direct from Japan it would just be dropped off in the UK and then forwarded straight onto you. This would avoid all UK import charges, registration charges, advertising charges and alot of my time getting it ready.

It would be £5500 + shipping to US

So as a good honest guy i would pass this saving onto you.

Ahhh right.

Thats pretty cool.

But I bet the customs charges etc can be quite costly and stuff.

I have been looking at Autoadvan and how they work things.

It seems pretty straight forward, but I am still not sure on what to do really.

If you have never imported, SVA'd and registered a car i would honestly say in the long run you would end up thinking you should have just got one all ready to go here in the UK. Not only that if the car turns up and is not to you expectations you cant just walk away. When i import direct for a customer if the car turns out to be no good i would just refund 100% their money. Or it is down to me to put thing right at my expense with no extra charge to you.
Dont just take my word feel free to get some feedback from guys on here that have personally imported their cars.

As a general rule you should be adding 50% on to the Jap purchase cost to get a OTR UK price. :nono:

I got Dunk to import my 2000 Rx for me - I couldnt belive how clean the car was when I went to pick it up !! Imaculate !!! - All Sva'd - MOT'd and ready to go with a full tank of fuel !! What more could you ask for, he even fitted some aftermarket parts for me in the driveway !!!

Top Service - Top Bloke !!!! Very Happy !!!

I would deffinatly buy an EK9 from him. No shadow of a doubt there for me, but at this stage it all boils down to my budget.

But I'll see how things go.

Sorry for kind of hijacking the thread to. I should have just started a new one.
 
Only problem with Dunk is he imports too many Rx's, they're gonna be more common than 97-99's soon:D
 
I have just become a ek9 whore, i import what people want:woot:. Its a shame i prob wont see any more 97's, i just cant afford to bring any decent ones over and compete with the £5,500 dealers :angry2:.
