Just been looking around and knowticed some people have hit over 130mph in 4th gear
Now this i find odd, my B16B is on its std ecu - and still has the std 180kph/112mph speedlimiter as normal. However I find i can hit the revlimit in 4th before i hit the speedlimiter of 180/112, thus i have to change to 5th for a few 100 rpm before i hit the speedlimiter.
Now i can understand that speedo's and tachos can be out, however im sure the revlimiter and speedlimiter are set in stone at 8.4K and 180/112.
Is this right?
Ive no reason to belive my g/box has had anything special done to it, and its defo an S4C LSD box, only thing i know has been done to it is its been cleaned up and the LSD print has come off. I bought my engine/box etc of a guy who bought a front clip fof an EK9 from japan - and i know he didnt do naything to the gbox.
Any ideas? or is this normal?
