Had my car on gaybay for sale, at what i thought was a bargain price of 5.5k and it only reached 5100!!! 5100 quid!!!! For a 340bhp ek9!!! Ok it needs a pit of paint and has brand new bonnet and wings with it included in the sale but i ask myself am i dreaming putting it up for that price or wasnit really a bargain???

Absoulute animal of an Ek9 for sale!!!!!
This car is blisteringly lively and has had a lot of time and money spent on it. Mileage is a mix of 62,000kms and the remainder is miles

Skunk 2 lca's
Beaks rear tie bar
Saga oil temp and boost gauges
Final gear auto 7x16 lightweight alloys (stupidly rare) wrapped in toyo t1rs

Always serviced every 4k miles by myself with castrol oil and hamp filter

Bad bits:
Body work needs attention, i have a pair of brand new wings and bonnet included in the sale as the current ones have rust patches on them. Front bumper/ splitter is badly stone chipped. Rear bumper has some spidersweb cracking on paint. Steering wheel is worn and could do with a fresh one. But for a car thats this age its in good straight condition and is amazing to drive


Approx 330-340bhp according to Ricky who mapped it. Will sit alongside my mates porsche gt2 all the way to 165. It would easily pull a taller final drive but i find it awesome on the stock Ek9 ratios
Only reason for sale is an unfortunate change in circumstances :(

It is a steal but cars are losing alot of value look at the b18 ek9 that sold a few days ago on here went for peanuts!

Also you put OVNO £5.1k is only £400 less then the asking price but depends how determined you are to get the money you want and if you need the cash now! If not hold on a while

Cars are worth fcuk all nowadays...my picked up a very clean example of a C/W DC5 with 65k miles for 6k. FD2s have come down in price a fair bit, same with most cars.

You should maybe keep it :) or sell it now as if you sell it in a few months the price will only come down.
 
This is why you keep them :p Should of easily shifter for that.

But unfortunately this is why they all get broken for parts :(
 
It was within 10% of the asking price, which is fair IMHO.
 
it the advert that put me off fro the car. what is the actual combined miles on the car, whats its history, why does it need a new front end of panels? I cant see as there is no pics but maybe the quality of those wasnt great. TBH i wouldnt buy a car off ebay mainly because i have the mindset that any vehicle sold on ebay is rough and dodgy! 5500 doesnt seem to outrageous for a turbo'd ek9 but not knowing its overall condition is asking alot from the buyer. :nice::nice:
 
Full pics etc were on, decent size etc too as that really bugs me when they list stuff with no/shitty pics. Ad says why its got new panels as the current ones are rusty. Meh ill wang it backnon and see what it does lol

**** me, if I had seen it for sale i'd have bought it for more than that!
