i really want turbo my jdm b18c. i know it high compression and i going boost it less then 6. i want hear out what guys have say on this. it not for race it just for fun of it. little help on thing keep motor safe i know 50-50 chance going blow up an wont last long. it going be tuned on s300:thanks:

If you have high enough octane gas and a proper tune it shouldn't be a problem, you can add head studs and slightly thicker head gasket if it makes you more comfortable.

what would be differance with ticker head gasket? because i have brand new oem one on side i was going change when i do turbo.

Well when you say JDM B18c are you referring to the type r or the regular b18c?

If you have a non type R JDM b18c you have about 10.6:1 Compression, a .050 head gasket will bring that down to about 10:1 which is still high but a bit safer, an even thicker .065" will bring you down to about 9.7:1.

From this point on its best you chose a tuner and discuss the rest with them, if the tuner is comfortable tuning a turbo 10.6:1 motor then go for it ;)

it jdm b18c5

oh dear, so your closer to 11:1 compression, that is a bit high, i would only trust the best and most confident tuner with that, one that has experience with tuning a setup like that, all my other advice still applies.
