AD08 on OEM EK9 wheel

Yeh, I get that, matey, thanks :)

I shall dig about for OEM pressures, thanks for your response :)

How do the R's compare in price? My 195/50/15 08's were around £75 per tyre, but that was over 18 months ago.

You can get a set of ad08r's for about 340 fitted or circa 300 including delivery but not fitting.

I recently purchased the newer Advan AD08R in 195/55/15 from RareRims at £89 per corner. Excellent tyres and it's hard to fault to them. Highly recommended.

Sorry to throw up this old topic but i've got something interesting.

First i used to have some R1R and now AD08 (not R),
R1R was way better for road use or wet, instant high grip at cold conditions, but it melt down on any trackdays
AD08 need to heat to give a good amount of grip but last waaaaay longer on track. and sidewall are a little bit too soft when you know R1R.

For me i would like a R1R that last like the AD08 :p

To come back to the subject, at first i've put the AD08 on my EK9 wheel set (6x15 195/50/15), i loved it but car seems stange when changing from left to right (and reverse) turns ... from few pics on the ring i've found that the tire can't touch the road on all the threads, because tires was strech in the wrong way (the inside can't touch the road on high G turns).
And to change look i've buyed some Slipstreams here (wanted ragamaster but haven't the money) in 7X15, and put my AD08 on it, tire are a little bit stretch, but not so much.
I'VE DISCOVERED A NEW CAR , more directiv, no more strange feeling and now i'm very confident on tracks like the ring !!!
for me i will never use again a tire wider than the wheel !!!
