Hi guys

As above I'm after a set of front accord type r calipers and carriers for a conversion On my dc2.

If anyone has or knows of any could you please get in touch

Many thanks
Jim

I have great condition ATR twin pots on my DC2, they have new discs and new ferodo DS2500 pads! The braking performance is unreal compared to the DC2 brakes

Im trying to focus on my Civic track car and we have to run EK4 calipers so I would consider selling the ATR setup to free up some cash

PM me an offer for the complete kit, also do you have OEM 98 DC2 front brakes available (Calipers and discs)?

Hi mate

Yes I have 98spec calipers discs etc on my jdm dc2.
I have brand spanking new discs and ds2500 pads that are yet to be fitted. The pads and disc alone cost me £250 just last week.

What discs are you using on your atr setup?

Cheers jim

We could do a deal on your atr calipers, carriers and discs for my 98spec calipers, carriers and brand new unopened discs.
You keep your ds2500's and I'll keep my ds2500's. I believe atr and 98 spec dc2 pads are the same.

I presume your atr discs are 300mm? I have seen some people using 282mm disc with atr setup.

Just of curiosity, you use 16" alloys?

I run 16s for the road and 15" pro race for track. Pro race are the few 15s that will accommodate the atr brake setup.

Yes mate you are correct as far as I'm aware the ATR and ITR/EK9 pads are the same fitment so that saves swapping them.

Yes they are the 300mm Discs, they fill the 16" ITR wheels very well. The Discs are standard Honda as far as I'm aware and basically new, I will need to double check the make of the discs as I only recently bought the car.

The ATR calipers on my car work perfectly, can you confirm that your calipers are in the same condition, and the piston seals un-torn and everything free and working as it should?

Cheers

I can confirm the calipers are in perfect working order mate. Im not to sure about the seals, I presume if they were torn or corroded they would be leaking oil? Which they do not leak any oil what so ever. Everything moves as
It should and are free from corrosion.

I am just waiting for andy from vtec direct to get back to me regarding a atr setup I enquired about from him.

What kind of deal/swap/money would you be looking for mate?

My teg is my daily car so would need the atr setup before removing the itr stuff.

Let me know your thoughts please buddy.

Sorry for the confusion I meant the piston rubber boot, this keeps dirt and water out to prevent the piston from corroding and seizing

Not 100% sure on a price so make me an offer that would make it worth my while swapping the setup over

I would be able to have the DC2 off the road for a couple of days just so as soon as you got the ATR setup you would need to send the DC2 setup basically the next day, would that be possible?

I will double check the rubber boots tomorrow and get back to you on that one. I think the best I can do is wait untill I get a price from vtec direct and go from there price wise.

Due to work commitments the only day I would be able to get them changed is a Sunday possibly a Saturday if I'm very lucky. So I guess I would need yours for a Friday and wouldn't be able to send you mine untill the Monday.

I also just noticed your located in Ireland. I'm guessing next day postage would be fairly pricy. I'm located close to birmingham.
