abunai civic (present)

sold the rmf 4-1 header and bought this tegiwa /toda replica 4-2-1 header.
the new header had some off welds on the 4-2 section
some guys said that this is common with tegiwa headers...

Why are them triangles there ?
Is that so they can clean up there welds from inside?

mainly for a stronger design i believe original todaheader has these too.
i was and i'm still pissed off from the off piping...

i noticed a fluid leak on drivers side
it was my clutch cylinder
brake/clutch fluid is corrossive had to repaint the interior (driver's side) after replacing that clutch cylinder with a new one from mom-honda.
painted the NISSIN letters while i was boring :))
i should use an s2000 part much cleaner look tho.

j-speed flitch braces bought them from jap performance parts england.
installed them without removing the fenders was a tight fit tho and a super cold day that i still remember !
eventually a bit more front end reinforcement.
a triangular design like j's racing would be more beneficial but cost is always there i need a sponsor:cool:.

Nice little touch that ! Love the work you've put into this car , yes sponsor would be very helpful!
Money is also my barrier!

the prosport water themp gauge died so i bought a stack one to replace that.
drill and tap the ASH sensor housing since the stack had different size npt thread sensor.
over the years the other prosport gauges will die one by one

At least you got use of them , the new gage stack is sweet!
Good job .

The exhaust system is looking good bro , sound test to follow?
Great job pal .

sound clip from 76mm exhaust / tegiwa header

vs the 70mm exhaust / rmf header

after the exhaust changes and the smal intake update set the car on another tuner & dyno
dynapacks are the most consistance dyno's !
new set up :

jdm b18c-R (stock internals)
k'n filter
vibrant velocity stack 3.5''
3.5'' intake arm
stock itr TB
ported itr IM by me
outlaw thermoblock gasket kit
tegiwa/toda 4-2-1 replica header
76mm decat-exhaust
rdx 410cc injectors
walbro 190 lph
ngk bkr8eix spark plugs
no a/c
no p/s
vented valve cover & crankcase
p28 chipped

as a result car has better powerband !
vtec is set at 4600rpm and redline at 8800rpm.
engine feels stronger from down low to the redline !

here is the results and a small video.

Mirrors are nice , and great job on the paint!
Car sounds really good, top job mate .
Do you have heat tape on your fuel lines?
As far as I'm aware it's much better to have hot
Fuel mixed with cold air ,
Bigger bang as fuel will atomis better when hot .
But going by your dyno, car is doing good .
