I have a 98 Ek3. My ABS light wont go off! When I start the car I can hear the relay switch for the ABS light, the light is then on for a few seconds and I can hear the switch again and the light goes off. But once I drive away and brake the light comes back on and stays on. A couple of times the brake pedal has pushed back on me.
Me and my mate have checked and cleaned the sensors/magnets. He has also checked the diagnostics but nothing!
We have tried reseting the light by taking the battery off and the fuse out but still the same.
Could it be a faulty sensor or magnet or the ABS pump??
Dont want to check with Honda because it will no doubt turn out expensive!
I have only upgraded the dics and pads a while back. Havent changed the lines or the fluid.
Any help appreciated!
