is there a gain to be had with this? my mate has just upgraded hi OE ITR throttle body and has this going spare, i will someday do cams in my car so is it worth me taking it off his hands? direct bolt on ?

Direct Bolt On, if you will get it at a good price, you should get it, or you can bore your oem one, in my country is cheaper to bore your oem tb than buying one

Yes I agree, for stock cams you wont get any gains, just increased throttle response

go for it... i swapped my Spoon 70mm T/B for the OEM ITR one...

dont expect any power gains, but throttle responce like mentioned above!

Bit of a silly question but all i need is th bare TB yes? or do i need the sensors as well

yes you need the MAP sensor or your engine won't start up. lol

No you just use your existing MAP sensor. B16A/B uses 60mm TB which is only 2mm difference. Good mod especially later when you install cams. Don't go bigger!

Yeah you should be able to use the same sensors. I did when I had mine bored out to 64mm, no problems.

Is the 98 spec itr tb different? So it would be a worth while mod? Much difference in throttle respone lads?
