5th gear has no pull


You don't but then why would you want 2 know if you wern't going to go faster than 112mph

You've got or had a 330hp Astra so atleast 360ftlbs and your ek9 pulls like a train?
Man every car I've been in since having my Astra has felt slow.
 
Strange that the owner didn't give you this with the car? Most people leave the top speed key in just incase they need to do 140mph all of a sudden?

ek4 clocks b18 and p73ecu so im guessing it should read mph but not sure. How r they restricted? ecu?
 
I can't wait to try the red key the next time I have my car on the track, Im a bit worried that Im not going to be able to hold on when the vtec kicks in tho lol!!!
 
you should of bought a saxo instead as they already have the top speed key fitted as standard

omg...this is getting toooooo funny.

I hit rev limiter in 5th, but im only going 120mph...limited by short gears. :) But I get to 120mph seriously fast.

So if you manage to be bouncing of the limiter in 5th surely thats at the max speed of what the gear ratios and wheel/tyre size governs.

Doubt a totally standard car would manage to keep pulling over the 140-145 mark though.

Haha this is to funny, can't believe the owner didn't give you the red key, that's like him not giving you the logbook and locking wheel but key epic fail hahaha

I've had 145 still pulling with 4 people in on my old ek4 in Germany a few years ago. I reckon they would do 150 easy.
