New Oil, New Oil Filter, New Timing Belt, New Tensioner, New Water Pump, New Clutch (because when it is disengaged i can hear it spinning, only noticed it today) Or is this very common and doesnt need changing?? , New back bottom arms because there is a bit of knocking from somewhere...

:D Joys! Still love her too bits though :)

How old is the timing belt? AFAIK the tensioner only needs to be replaced every 2 belt replacements. Waterpump not really necessary if it's really 34k miles. Clutch must have been hammered I think.

Probably an old woman riding the clutch on the way to sainsburys once a week.

Timing belt is 14 years old! As is the rest of the car... It has only had services every 3500 miles but no changes to components.

Get it all done at least you know it's all new then. Then just drive it and enjoy :))

Your clutch problem sounds like the release bearing....especially if the noise gets quiter when you push your clutch pedal down.. not to worry though this should be about £57 from honda.... but i'd replace the clutch while its out TBH... i need to do this also... infact i need alot of what is on your list... plus stem seals as i am getting little puff of smoke at high RPM :(

as above. If its not problematic as in still engage gears properly then just wait till clutch packs in. My old mans civic used to do similar noise regarding clutch engaging etc because that was also a low mileage old persons car. so what we did was some fast gear changes and clutch kicks and it went less. But i wouldnt recommend it but it did help in our case with release bearing.

Quality advice!

My mate managed to stop smoke puff's by putting in a can to catch miniscule drops of water that get in through his air intake, the can comes off the rocker cover and then feeds back into the exhaust stystem somehow... Not upto speed enough for a more mechanical explaination.

Might be miniscule drops of oil actually lol... any water would be a bad idea lol :((

yeah catch can setup's stop oil going into the intake setup... stock from honda it will go into the intake piping...

This can stop a bit of smoking but it won't stop smoke if the piston rings or the valve stem seals are worn then it will still smoke :(

Yah man. Got my new oil and filter donw yesterday. Now i just need to do the belt, tensioner and waterpump and i can sleep easy.

when ever i buy an oil filter i can never believe how cheap it is for what it does :D
