Hi all, ive just bought a second hand pair of spoon twinblocks. The previous owner doesnt have the 4 bolts and spacers that came in the box. Will i have these on my standard ek9 calipers to reuse? Is there anything i should change before fitting them?

Thanks

they are completely worthless without the spacers and bolts, you may just send them to me so they can be disposed of properly... :p

seriously though i though the twinblocks were a direct fit and didn't need spacers for ek9/dc2. just give them a good clean and a once over before fitting, saving taking stuff off twice and bleeding the brakes again. :nice:

Haha! As tempting as it is, they're staying with me mate:) thanks for the reply, il do that!

What do you think to this picture? The pictures ive seen of brand new twinblocks all have those 4 bolts and spacers.

well those bolts are whats currently holding on your oem callipars, as for the washers i suppose it depends on what discs your using and if you need to adjust the callipars so that they are central on the discs.

Spacers are just washers get them handy enough, The bolts themselves are different to oem honda so you cant use your ones. i'd say you could get them in motorfactors just bring the caliper in

The guy i bought these off scammed me. Just a word of warning guys, keep an eye out for Aaron Sangha! I finally got the money back from paypal today.

how did he scam you? Did you buy them through the forum?

He told me he sent them, made up a fake tracking number and blocked me through facebook after i waited over a week past the expected delivery date. The deal was made through 'honda parts for sale'.

Eventually got my money back though!

So avoid honda parts for sale is the best option here. Unless trusted people know them I suppose.
