This is not my car is a friend of mine....

first of all this car was tuned for 30 minutes (the tuner had to leave out town ) so for that same reason he only did 3 dyno pulls..so here is the set up...

STOCK STOCK 08 tsx block
04 type s head ported by endyne
double springs
retainers
oversize flat valves
real time racing cams
afi intake manifold
accufab 90mm throttle body with 4" velocity stack
asp headers with reverse megaphone
id 1000cc injectors
E85 fuel

that's pretty much it the reason why my friend left the stock block is to see how much hp. he could get out of a stock block with fully built ported and polished head...and the final numbers are..

273 whp
189 tq
i will get pictures and videos in a couple of days..

...any comments good or bad are welcome.

that thing must shift in an EK, can;t wait for the video's ...

also good news for your build that he can get that number from the parts listed.. :nerv: can't wait to see that build finished.. :))

i really dont know how to convert that but im guessing yes or atleast pretty close
yes im really exited because this is stock block and mine will be built

I love how much power can be made from the k series engines :)
 
Thats not a big surprise IMO.
a K24 on E85 Fuel should be making those numbers all day..
Still, very credible results.
 
took the car for a spin last night. and let me tell you..we did a courtesy run
courtesy run = you have to run 100 miles over the speed that you are going to start racing
so another friend with a 450whp typer wanted to race so they did a 40 roll and from take off till 140 miles per hour the hatchback was in front the whole time for at least 4 - 5 cars then the type r started to get closer quick.. next time i will make sure somebody take a camera..

Exactly. K24 frankenstein can also run high 11s in a civic swap. Too many of these things on the street already.

The fastest Honda All motor is a RSX with K26 running 9.12sec 1/4 mile.
 
Awesome figures, about 330bhp @ the flywheel isn't it? Bet it fair shifts!
