22mm sway bar

Can i fit a EK9 or whiteline Sway bar 22m to my EK4 without the need for a ASR type brace or am i pushing it?? Surely the EK4 is the same as the EK9 and can take a 22mm bar no problem???

no you cant, you either need asr brace (easiest option) or have ek9 subframe welded on your ek4

ek9 rear subframe is seam welded an stronger the ek4 one is only spot welded
