1998 Integra Type R Motor Compression

Last saturday, I checked my motor compressions and the result was:

225 psi in all cylinders

Is this the stock psi of a 98 spec itr? :clap:
 
I think your motor has a thinner head gasket or something like that, I've usually seen that stock itrs motors have like 215 psi compression the most :)
 
i'm not sure but it's 240-250 psi for 98 specR i will check this week end on my motor

hmm, it depends on the gauge I guess. Shouldn't worry as long as all 4 are the same.

I got 230psi in all 4 on my B16B done on a Brand NEW gauge :nice:
 
i check the compression today and i have 215/220 psi :( but i have a old gauge

my spark plug was white on the electrode and black on the ring strange color no??it suppose to be chocolat brown.

White means running very lean. Black is rich... try using a fine sand paper to clean it out.

Its supposed to be bronze
