Looking for some track rubber in 195 50 15.

Hoping for a trackday in August. Tyres don’t necessarily need to be road legal as I have a spare set of UK ITR rims.

Im also keeping an eye on ebay. Something along the lines of R888/ A048/ 595-RSR/ AD08.

Not looking at spending much, but not wanting any rubbish either.

Can i recommend parda spec 2's they held the car very well @ 29 degres tempretures.

Currently running T1r's, i found after 3-4 laps of KH that the tyres were going off. That was running at 26psi.

Was hoping for a dedicated track rubber that might last a little longer and provide a bit more grip.

lots of folk are now running ad06 tyres, great grip and now a great price 195/50/15 is £310 delivered off ebay :)

^ Do you mean ad08, cant find ad06, and most links are from 2004 ha.

Try camskill they are really well priced and deliver to your door

Iv got some part worn A048's, but in pretty sure they are 195/55/15.

Any good?

I seen them on here and JDMy0. Im pretty sure they are A038 not A048 however.

Wouldn’t be interested in the wheels as they are 4 stud, but maybe depending on how much your wanting for the tyres. Il need to do a bit of reading on the A038 before deciding.

You're right mate, they are A038's. semi slicks. I had them before on my 450hp EK and were excellent on that. There maybe a couple track days left on 2 of them, other 2 have a few more remaining. M
Can remove them from wheels if price is right mate ;)

Sent you a PM :)

Hi,

Are you able to give any details on them, and cost?

Are these the ones that were for sale on here recently with the ek9 alloys?

Yes. That's the ones.
Part worn, but still loads of tread left.
Pm me if interested, pictures are in the ad for alloys.

I'm after £85 for them, they are very well rated tyres :)

^ Should be ok Ross.

My front SSRs are 16x8 and i've got 205/45/16 Federal RSRs on them fine.

If you're looking for great performance and good life, AD08s are maybe the best choice.

^ interesting.

Will a 205 be ok on UK ITR alloys?

I would imagine so yeh. what width are they? 6.5j or 7j?

I run 215 on 7j absolutely fine.

It works out £64.20 with free delivery for each tyre.....considering they are as good as AD08's and R1R's its a ludicrous price!
