Would alloys 15x6.5 with a +35 offset fit an ek?
Also, what would look better in CE28N - 15" or 16" ? Anyone have comparison pictures?

yes, with enough negative camber it would fit. Tire size should be kept at 195/55/15 or 205/50/15

16s look great on an EK.

Get them in 15" and use 195/50 tyres

Won't need mega negative to fit

I run the same offset but 7" wide, rolled rear arches, 6mm front spacers so actually ET29 (to clear brakes) and fit perfect

As above 15" looks great with a 195/50, I have the same wheels as Steven but don't run as low and I've yet to have any issues with rubbing or catching. At first I was a bit worried that 35 would be too aggressive but I'm so happy I went for them as they make the car look wider with a nice stance, also the handling should be improved as you're effectively widening the track :nice:

are the 195/50 guys running this size because of looks or because of performance?

The tire is smaller and while it does look more aesthetically pleasing, your overall diameter is 2.5inches smaller.

This causes your speedometer to read faster than it really is and I don't know what your roads are like in your part of the world, but I would prefer the extra sidewall on the street with the 55 series that the car was originally equipped with.

If you go with a 50 series tire - go 205 for the added width.

Mixture of everything really, the big one is cost, you can pick up 195/50's from £30 for a Toyo T1R where the 55 is closer to £55, then there's the improved acceleration which considering that on the road top speed is irrelevant then it's a bonus and then the looks as the 55 makes the 15" rim look small. 205s would offer more footprint but at the risk of it catching due to lower offsets/wider wheels

I run them for........

-the increased feedback being a shorter stiffer sidewall
-A mildly tuned 1.6 there is no need for the additional width of 205 tyres, this is just extra weight
-smaller overall diameter for better acceleration

It's a track car so all of the above i see as positives :nice:

No problem at all, I doubt youll need more negative camber than standard with a 195 section tyre.
