1,4non vtect to vtec conversion help neeeddesperatly

hi all having big dilema i am wanting to put a bseries into my 1.4 now iknow i have to change ecu driveshafts ect but will i need to change the wiring in any way swap looms or tap in to them or what al help greatly apriciated as im held up now till i get an ansew (

well iknow then engine loom is different but is that it will my inside loom not need messing with just a swap of the outside one then the rest just plug into the new ecu??

You will need a vtec obd2a loom if car is 96-98 or obd2b if car is 99-00. It will plug in fine to your interior loom and you have to use the relevent ecu which may require a jumper harness if it's a ecu not from the same obd wiring i.e obd1 ecu.

cheers mate thats saved me worrying now lol what aboutit being a non vtec before will the loom and ecu sort that or will there be extra stuff a got to sort myself?

Yes once you add a vtec loom and ecu your good to go just hold on to your main power loom which clips along back of engine going from battery side to drivers side shock tower, you will see it once you go about removing 1.4 engine
