i have an ek4 at present standard engie and was thinking of installing a garrett t3/t4 turbo kit. is this wise. i realise my reliability will decrease..... the engine has covered about 92k miles i think ( had to replace engine ). i keep hearing rumours that you shouldn't turbo anything over 30k...

as the title says looking for an ek9 cat or an adjustable decat to fit standard ek9 system on my ek4. pm me if you have anything cheers.

in reply to the last 2 posts yes this is a 1.6 dohc engine. and yes this is the ek4 uk vti. i'm struggling to find a replacement car yet, and as i can't live without one, the car won't be going on sale until then. i'm car hunting most nights so i will post any updates asap
