    i think it's the belt tensioner bearing for the A/C. A common issue with that bearing , just get a 6203 bearing and replace it.

    If the rack show signs of rust , cavities , deposits etc , i would replace the rack if is not that expensive and hard to change.

    @ Tsuchinoko : The number for the ZDDP are after 14000 km trip on a B16A2 that used all 3 types of oil (5w30 RL , 5w40 Amsoil and 5w40 300v).     How did you calibrate de needle? Check the harnes/plugs off the cluster for a loose or split wire.

    Try redline it has the most zinc you can get (1200, Amsoil 800 zddp and 300v 600) i'm usig this oil for past 2 years (5w30) . From my point of view is the best oil out there. @ Tsuchinoko : How much oil is the engine burning with the 300v?

    Too much oil will cause serious problems . The crankshaft will pound the oil in the sump and cause oil foam. The oil flow will be serious affected through the whole system and do some serious damage on the moving parts that need constant oil lubrication. ( crankshaft , bearings , camshaft etc)...

    Ek3/4/9 share the same airbox ... the box is not the problem .. u sould use a pipe thing to connect the box and TB . The standard one from Ek4 is to short and the one of ek3 has a small diameter EK4 EK3
