Aaron's Take

Feels like a blast from the past, doesn't it? There's the '80s styling in typical boxy fashion.

Back in its "Hey Days", the Civic EF9 was the obvious choice of many tuners and teams that partook in the "Civic One-Make Race" that popularised the 4th generation Civic as a street weapon of the late '80s till early '90s, just before the dawn of its descendant, the Honda Civic EG.

Still, the older EF-series Civic retains much of the original flavour, why many aspiring boy-racers fell in love with it. Today it is still a hot favourite amongst Kanjo-Hashiriya (Highway Racers), who dodge and zip through traffic in their stripped and gutted EFs, making them even more lightweight than ever.
