Going on holiday for 2 weeks now so won't be any updates for a while. Please all comments and recommendation will be gratefully received.

Just a quick one. Does anyone know where I can get number 24 in the pic in used condition? Don't fancy paying £50 new for it!!

Great build mate! Wish I had that sort of attention to detail! Can't wait to see this done.

So its been a long time since I have updated this, apaologies.

Its been coming on really well and the end is on sight!

The Whiteline rear ARB is in place along with the rear suspension and brakes.

The front sub-frame is bolted in with the power steering delete kit

Got the front brakes on and test fit the wheels (pads were fitted later)

I made new brake lines for the ABS delete but these had to be don't again by a professional as mine were leaking badly...not somewhere I want to save money!!

Next was the dashboard, which had to be cut down to fit around the cage...which was a pain!

Next was to move onto the engine. The plans for this was a complete rebuild but costs wont allow that so I gave it a good service and a lick of paint.

Gearbox got the same treatment. I used the new RPC clutch from Tegiwa and a Fidanza flywheel. Just the stage 1 for the time being as anymore would be a waste.

I also put in a baffled sump kit.

I got some tyres for the wheels and went for Federal RSR's as I have read a lot of good things about them

And chucked them on the car...and it is starting to look like a car!

I got some crazy rear camber from my BuddyClub adjustable camber arms...will fix that later.

Engine in was the next big stage and it took a lot longer than I thought. I think it was because of the stiffness of the Innovative engine mounts.

So now I'm waiting for the brake lines to get made up and can carry on installing everything in the bay.

Thoughts and comments welcome.

are you running standerd gearbox? wheels suit it very well , are they 16's?

So its taken me a very long time to update this page, apologies.

The car has come on a long way and only needs a few more bits before I can get an MOT.

There were a lot of wires and one big mess than was crying out to be organised.

I connected it all up and she lives!

Have a neat set up for the battery in the boot.

Got a footrest for mounting the ECU to as I cant mount it in its original place as I cut off the bracket to fit the cage, looks quite neat, will look even better when its finished.

Then came the big start up, took a while to get the fuel though the lines but she fired up eventually. Its very loud as the exhaust is not all connected atm.

Fitted replica spoon wing mirrors, love them.

That's it until I get an MOT and will get some pics of it finished :)

Looks good! Like the orange bits. Where did you get the replica spoon mirrors from?

Great project here must have felt so good to have it running it should be ready perfect in time for track season :)

Cheers, it was a toss up between orange and dark purple and I think I made the right choice. I got them off someone on Ebay, no idea of the brand.
