Did you try MeisterR too? They both seem to be evenly matched, but BC Racing is more track-orientated.

And MeisterR seem to have more versatility :p

My car is an EF by the way.

I have bcs. The cheap 600ish quid ones.

Steven (spek9) ran them on full hard front, four clicks off at rear. I ran them on a cold track day full soft.

This would suggest the range of adjustment isnt massive - ideally full soft would be too soft to be useful and full hard...too hard.
Spring rate unknown but assumed to be standard.

It handles great though!

I've had both, albeit BC's were on my Silvia and meister's on my EK. Both great value for the money.

Aren't Meister and Bc the same coilover just with different branding? Same as k sport and d2?? I think

Pretty much karl

check out quantumn suspension ££££

D2, BC and racing logic are 3 seporate businesses owned by the same consortium. D2 being the largest of the 3. All based in Taiwan

According to this link: TAIWANESE SUSPENSION FACTORIES - JULY 2013

Never tried Bc but had some Meisters once on my del sol they were far better on the road than the d2's ive got now.

I love my BC's. for the money you cant go wrong. i went for an 8kg front spring and 6 rear but thats for a road going EK so dont really know if that would suit a DC2.

In terms of budget coilovers don't think you'll see much difference between them tbh

I have MeisterRs with pillowball top mounts and they feel great over the stock set up

You are very unlikely to find a member that has had both on a dc2 to provide you with a fair comparison - everyone is going to compare what they have to what they had

Had bc on my s2000 very good ride
now miester r on dc2 just as good maybe a little bit more crashy

I have BC's, but they came with the car. I had never really rated them as a decent coilover before, or the Meisters for that matter but since owning them I have been quite impressed.

I need to find out what sping rates Ive got though as the ride is a little bouncy with having so much weight removed, even on a soft damper setting.

My mate used to have bc's on his dc, they worked really well on the car & thought they were smooth on the road compliant for daily use!! I think was the standard spring rates too that bc does 12kg front & 6kg rear.

Another main difference is that we are here to support you if you have a questions. :)

By the way, we do have products that are made in the UK.
Our new GT1 coilovers are fully engineered, CNC machined, and hand build in the UK.
They are design to take on more high end suspension such as Ohlins DFV and so on, giving great ride characteristic on the road and sharp steering response at the same time by employing advance and precise engineering.

We have thrown technology in the GT1 that makes people jaws drop.
Like a small pressurised air chamber inside the oil chamber that are design to damping small and fast damper movement.
What that mean is that the GT1 dampers can dampen small and fast vibration (such as ribbed concrete) where other suspension would be sending them straight into the chassis as those movement are too small and fast for the piston to react to.

We do have our own research & development department / engineers in the UK, and that isn't something that many other brand at our price bracket can say. ;)

You might be over sprung now that you have remove some weight.
The weight of the springs is printed on the springs, it is the last 3 digit on the springs. So 62.200.010 will be 10kg/mm

Play with the damping, drop me a PM if you are having issue and I am more than happy to help. ;)
