So Kieran, would you say a bigger tb is fine for a boosted engine??
I have a Skunk2 inlet with skunk2 tb (either 68 or 70mm, cant mind) for my boosted c4.
My mechanic hasn't really said anything so far regarding skunk2 tb being too big so im presuming that will be fine then??
To be honest mate I wouldn't really know, when It comes to turbo setups Im still learning. So couldn't say Better or worse. Since im not sure Im not going to even try and give you advice, as it seems a lot of people seem to love doing on the net.
Not a big fan of giving unsure gueswork advice.
I completely see where your coming from, but im not one of those people that think "bigger is better". However a 3" intake pipe gave me an extra 5mph top end speed on a 1 mile straight stretch of road.
If you class that as a good analogy of proven gains then Im going to give up now as Im clearly wasting my time trying to help. I have writen up some substancial facts on what world know top Engine tuners use for their engines, take from them what you like. If you want to waste your money go ahead.
