Engine bay looks great. Shame about the gasket but at least it's sorted.

Your intercooler is similar shape/size to mine. Do you think the reg plate covering part of the IC is much of a problem? As the plate probably covers up a fair bit where air could be going through the fins. Just something someone mentioned to me... But the only solutions really are move the plate to the side or get a 1 line plate on.

That's a good question about the intercooler as I was wondering that myself. I'd imagine if there was a problem though your tuner would of noticed it (intake air temps ). I'll see how I get on anyway. If I need to do something about it I will.
 
Ah yes intake temps. It was Will (EK9turbo) from RDT who mentioned it to me when I was getting some work done. I can't remember wether he said my intake air temps are high or wether he said they may be high.

Would data logging on an s300 give intake air temperatures? If so I could do some tests to see what the difference is with/without the plate.
 
Yeah, if you hooked upto the S300 you could log the temps. Bear in mind it's the winter now though. Ideally you want to check them on a hot summer's day. In my opinion you're probably fine....

I need to find somewhere like that I can mount it. Been this is my everyday car, the interior is 100% stock.

Wow that sounds good, Sounds fast also, just quite hard to tell with the view. Obvisouly its quick though haha.

Love the sound of the turbo fluttering :D

And the intercooler looks awesome - = STEALTH :nice:

Nah mate, I'm going to take it down London to TDI plc or Artech to get it finished off on a dyno. A tune is never complete unless it's been done on a dyno..

I mocked up the oil and water lines earlier, going to post some pics up in a few mins if you don't mind take a quick look and tell me if they look ok to you please?

when I drop mine off to yours to finish off..... you could take me out for a blast :D
